If Chrome stuck with “Downloading proxy script”

Recently have got an issue with Google Chrome – when opening new tab it was freezing with “Downloading proxy script” message in status line.

If you have the same (and already going to move to IE), you can do the following:

1. Go to Chrome Settings
2. Click “Show advanced settings…”
3. Under “Network” press button “Change Proxy Settings”
4. In “Internet Properties” window press button “LAN Settings” and uncheck “Automatically detect settings”

Thats all. It will be flying again.
